Chad Clark

Owner / Chief Executive Officer

Founded in 2016 by Chad Clark, CM Clark Construction is a veteran-owned, financially sound, and full-service commercial builder / developer. Chad brings over 22 years of commercial construction experience and often serves in a consulting management role. Prior to starting his own company, Chad was the president of construction / development for Village Park Senior Living. He also created the Senior Living & Hospitality Group Division at Carroll Daniel Construction Company. Earlier in his career he spent 12 years at Rogers Construction Company where he advanced from an assistant project manager role to Executive Vice President overseeing all preconstruction, estimating, marketing/business development, and construction operations. Chad’s education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate Degree in Commercial Construction Management from Gwinnett Technical College. He also received an Associate Degree in Applied Technology/ Communications at the Community College of The Air Force prior to completing his seven years of military service. He holds a Commercial construction license in Georgia and South Carolina.

Joseph J Matovina

Chief Operation Officer

JJ obtained Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering Technology in 1993 from Georgia Southern University. JJ has over 25 years of experience in the residential and commercial construction industry. He most recently completed a 420-luxury apartment community in Pendergrass, GA serving as the General Superintendent. He has an extensive background in General Contracting, Commercial / Residential Casework and Mill Work, C&D Waste Processing / Hauling, Operation Management, Engineering, and Design.

Collin Lewis

Pre-Construction / Project Manager

Collin obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering in Fall 2022 from Kennesaw State University. He served as a Project Engineer intern on a large multi-family construction before joining CM Clark Construction as an Assistant Project Manager in the Fall of 2023. He currently serves as Pre-Construction / Project Manager including planning, estimating, budgeting, value engineering, scheduling, subcontractor and vendor contracting.
